🍽What Do I Serve With This Casserole Dish?

Pairing your Chicken Cobbler with complementary dishes can elevate your meal to a feast. Consider these options:

Fresh Green Salad

A crisp green salad with a light vinaigrette provides a refreshing counterpoint to the rich flavors of the cobbler. The acidity of the dressing helps cut through the creaminess, making each bite feel balanced.

Roasted Vegetables

Roasted vegetables like Brussels sprouts, carrots, or asparagus add an extra layer of flavor and texture. Season them with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper before roasting, and you'll have a delicious side dish that enhances the main course.

Garlic Bread

Who can resist a slice of warm, buttery garlic bread? It’s perfect for soaking up the delicious bechamel sauce in the Chicken Cobbler. Plus, it adds a satisfying crunch to your meal.

⏲️Chef's Tip

For an added burst of flavor, consider incorporating some herbs into your biscuit topping. Freshly chopped parsley or chives can add a delightful freshness that complements the richness of the dish.

Also, don't be afraid to experiment with different cheeses—Gruyère or mozzarella can offer a different but equally delicious taste.

💭Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Use Different Vegetables?

Absolutely! Feel free to substitute the carrots and peas with your favorite vegetables. Broccoli, bell peppers, or even mushrooms can work well in this recipe.

What If I Don't Have Bechamel Sauce?

No worries! You can easily use a canned cream soup like cream of chicken or cream of mushroom as a substitute. Both options will provide the creamy texture needed for the filling.

How Can I Make This Dish Ahead of Time?

Chicken Cobbler is perfect for meal prep. You can assemble the entire dish a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. When you're ready to serve, simply bake it in the oven, adding an extra 10-15 minutes to the baking time if it's coming straight from the fridge.
