- 1.2 kg (3 pounds) potatoes
- 4 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
- 1 ½ cups full-fat cream
- ½ cup cream cheese
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup instant mashed potatoes
- 2 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.
- Using a mandoline, thinly slice peeled potatoes.1.2 kg (3 pounds) potatoes
- In a large bowl whisk cream with cream cheese, parmesan, 4 tablespoon of butter, ½ tablespoon of pepper and a generous pinch of salt.1 ½ cups full-fat cream, ½ cup cream cheese, ½ cup parmesan cheese, 4 tablespoon butter
- Mix potatoes with a creamy base and transfer into a 9x12 baking pan. Bake for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, cook instant mashed potatoes in 2 tablespoon of melted butter for 10 minutes or until golden. Season with a pinch of salt and remaining black pepper. Let cool down completely.½ cup instant mashed potatoes, 2 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
