Whether you call it American Chop Suey, Goulash, or just a pasta casserole, this is always a hit at the dinner table!
Pasta, ground beef, red onion, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sour cream, cream cheese, mozzarella or cheddar.
Cook the pasta for 1/2 the time suggested, drain, and then set aside. In a skillet, cook the onions until tender, then add the ground beef and spices. Cook until no longer pink.
Once the beef is cooked, stir in the tomato sauce and bring it to a boil. Once it is bubbling, stir in the sour cream and cream cheese.
Once the sauce is mixed well, add in the pasta to combine. Pour into a baking dish and then cover with shredded cheese before baking as directed.
