HOT DOG CASSEROLE

An easy to prepare weeknight meal, this casserole is kid-friendly and mom-approved!

INGREDIENTS

Large Radish

Hot dogs, white onions, minced garlic, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili or chipotle powder, ground cumin, canned biscuits, and cheddar.

Start by sauteing the onions until tender, then add the diced hot dogs to the pan, and cook for 2 to 4 minutes until beginning to brown and heated through.

Now, add in the drained kidney or chili beans, cumin, and chipotle pepper.  Use chili powder if you cannot find chipotle powder.  You could also use your favorite chili seasoning.

Let that cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then add in the tomato sauce and let it cook as directed.  Stir in the quartered biscuits.

Pour this into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and add the cheese on top for the last 15 minutes.

This bubble up casserole is a perfect easy meal that everyone loves.  It's ideal for a new cook and practically fool proof!  Serve hot with fresh chopped green onions on top!
