CREAMED ONION GRATIN

This easy to make side or appetizer is richly flavored and cheesy. The perfect starter to any meal!

Ingredients

Large Radish

White onion, yellow onion, red onion, salt, black pepper, olive oil, brown sugar, butter, flour, heavy cream, white wine, nutmeg, white cheddar, and parmesan

Slice the onions thinly, then place them in a baking dish with olive oil, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minuets. 

Artichoke

While the onions bake, prepare the sauce by mixing together the butter and flour, cream, white wine, and nutmeg.  Stir in the cheese then stir this with the onions and bake.
