A simple homemade cream sauce with pasta and shrimp combine to make the ultimate rich and comforting weeknight meal.
Elbow macaroni, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, garlic, onion, parsley, olive oil, butter, flour, heavy cream, cream cheese, Parmesan, white cheddar, salt & pepper, and breadcrumbs
Start by par-cooking the pasta, draining, and setting it aside. Then coat the tomatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper and roast until just browning.
In a large pan, cook the onions until tender. Then add in the cream cheese, heavy cream, cheddar, parmesan, and parsley. Stir and cook to create sauce.
Combine the sauce, pasta, and shrimp together and pour into the prepared ramekins. Then mix the breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle over the top before baking.
Serve this all alone, or with a side of steamed vegetables for a simple but upscale meal that feels like it was made by a star chef!
