Ground beef, tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, cheddar cheese, and cornmeal.
Combine the buttermilk, egg, and butter in a small bowl and whisk.
Combine the cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar, and whisk together.
Whisk together the liquid ingredients and dry ingredients.
Saute the ground beef until browned.
Pour in the tomato sauce and enchilada sauce to the ground beef.
Pour the cornmeal mixture into a separate skillet and bake in the oven until golden brown.
Stir the ground beef and sauces together.
Add the shredded cheese to the meat mixture.
Pull the cornbread out of the oven and check for doneness.
Spread the beef mixture over the cornbread in the pan.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the casserole and bake.
